From May to July, when the fledglings leave their nests and learn to live independently, it is impossible to invade their world and take them home, the Minsk-Novosti correspondent was told in the Akhova Ptushak Batskaўščiny public organization.

People feel sorry for the chicks, as it happens to feel sorry for abandoned kittens or puppies, - noted the specialist of environmental protection at Semey Left. But birds are a different matter: they must remain in the wild! And if you take the fly to yourself, then after home conditions it will no longer be able to exist in the natural environment and will be “sentenced” to life imprisonment. And then at best. A chick will need special, specific care, which requires certain knowledge and skills, including proper feeding. Few can provide this, so most often the “help” from people for young birds ends sadly.

According to him, the APB receives dozens of calls every day about fly-ins caught on the ground.

- Why it happens? Every new day in the nest is an additional danger. For example, birds of prey or cats, - explained the ornithologist. - Therefore, the kids try to leave the house as early as possible. They try to fly and sit down on branches or the ground for rest, because immediately, without training, it is not easy to take off. You cannot interfere in this educational process. The chick does not move far from the nest, and adult birds constantly look after and feed him. In any case, no one will take care of him better than his parents.

You can distinguish a bird from an adult bird by certain signs. "Teenagers" usually have not yet fully fledged, part of their fly and tail feathers in the form of tubules-primordia. And, for example, owls leave the nest, generally still being in fluff. Passerines have yellow ridges along the edges of the beak; it is not without reason that they are referred to as yellowhorotics. The chick can stick out fluff on the head or back, and the tail is short, as if nibbled. Often, uncleanly taken eggs are taken for sick or underdeveloped birds. In fact, everything is fine with him.

If you find a bird in the wild (in a forest, on a field, near a reservoir), move away so as not to disturb it and adult birds, ornithologists recommend. We saw in the city - first you need to evaluate the place according to the degree of danger. From the roadway, a busy path, a territory for walking dogs or a playground, the chick can be carefully transferred to the nearest bushes or trees and planted on a branch: there, parents will definitely find it. But this must be done very carefully so as not to damage the fragile bones or tail. If the cage is in a safe place, do not touch it. Also, do not try to feed the chick: for him, human intervention is unnecessary stress. Such actions can lead to the fact that parents frightened beyond measure will leave the baby or even the entire brood.

For those who acted imprudently and had already taken the sletka home, there was only one advice: return it to where you got it as soon as possible. It is advisable to plant the chick on a branch, toss it on the visor of the porch or the roof of the garage so that the dog or cat cannot smell it.

- APB asks everyone who is worried about flying away: do not touch the birds! Do not create difficulties either for the birds or for yourself, because nature has foreseen everything. By the way, legislation prohibits the removal of animals from the wild: such an action falls under administrative responsibility as an offense, - summed up S. Left.
